@JeffM Absolutely. Urinary continence was back for me 100% by about
three months after surgery. Thank God, I've had no issues since with that.
ED is another matter. I might not be a comparable case to you since I lost about
3/4 of my nerves to the surgery. We knew from imaging that my nerves were likely involved so my surgeon and I had a talk where he told me that he wouldn't be going in to do a "half-assed job" and he planned to cut wide and felt I might lose 100% of the nerves. It ended up that he took the complete right side and about
half of the left. I am still using a daily maintenance of sildenafil and weekly trimix injections. Just within the last month and a half (around 10-11 months since RP), I started getting unaided, spontaneous about
75% erections. I'm excited about
this, especially since I am still on Lupron. So hang in there. If I can start to get back unaided erections after losing 3/4 of my nerves there is definitely hope for most guys.

CT Scan, Bone Scan, and lymph node biopsy found one pelvic node positive
open RP At Cleveland Clinic w/Dr. Eric Klein on 12/19/2016. Post Op Path Report confirms G9 and positive pelvic node
1st Lupron shot on August 19th (scheduled for 18 months ADT)
ART w/Dr. Rahul Tendulkar 5/17 -6/17. PSA undetectable since surgery.
