A UTI could raise your PSA. PSA can be elevated for many reasons and can take awhile to return to normal. Best is just to wait another couple of weeks or a month and retest. Since you're post in a PC site, I'll assume you're concerned about
have PC. PSA isn't a test for cancer - it just shows you need more testing. Your baseline PSA at 1.50 would be normal and not a cause for worry. Also, PC rarely has symptoms at your PSA (even 4.8).
There are other tests like the PHI (prostate health index) that give a better idea what is going on. Likely you have nothing more than a UTI to recover from, but monitoring your PSA would be wise given your family history.
