As TA said, you are now half baked!
Welcome officially to the HDR-BT club. It will be over before you know it. The burning will subside within a day or so, felt like a bad UTI to me, having had several during my lifetime. It's interesting that you mention insomnia when taking Flomax. I've been on Flomax and have been taking it in the evenings and over the past several months have not been sleeping as well. I have sleep apnea and wear a CPAP and thought maybe my CPAP needed an adjustment (still possible) - but never considered it could be the Flomax. I think I'm going to switch the Flomax over to mornings and see if it helps. Thanks for sharing this information.
