This forum is always more informative than my doctor is. So I am back with the same concern three months after the last PSA test.
PSA at DX was 6.63
Normal DRE, Biopsy found 2 of 12 positive cores with 5% and 20% positive.
T1-c on both, but Gleason 7 on the more advanced one
EBRT 45 treatments from 1/17 to 4/17
Firmagon injections monthly from 1/17 to 7/17
So the 3month PSA in 7/17 was a 0.16 (still had Firmagon ADT on board)
6month PSA (10/17) was 0.24 (50% increase but still very low)
9month PSA (2/1/17) has increased to 0.44!!
It has almost doubled in three months, but is still low and the Nurse did not seem too concerned...but neither the doctor or nurses never seem that concerned or reactive. I know I am probably worrying too much, but except for suspected ED and some fatigue I have no symptoms and never had any ever.
Anybody have any thoughts or experiences with similar increases at this level or any other words of wisdom?
