I took the advice of one of the veterans on this thread and take the meds on an empty stomach with an entire bottle of water first thing in the morning and no nausea, unfortunately I also have the Gout so I've had a flare up and improve hoping it's not from the meds.
Empty stomach is essential - your doc should have been all over that point. And the prednisone 5mg 2x per day (with food) is the standard at my onco.
I didn't last long on Zytiga as I had the liver issues they warn about
. Someone has to be in the 2%, right?
Anyway, I suffered badly with gout for years, until the docs put me on Uloric 40mg per day. Flares since then have been non-events. I had no flares while I was on Zytiga or Xtandi (and yes, I'm on lifetime Lupron as well).
