At long last I understand the story behind GFMPH!
I admire the members who thought up the meeting. What a wonderful idea. This forum can function as a support group for the members. Gathering together to celebrate our commonality makes so much sense.
Reading all the posts above makes me think of my own small group of PC survivors. We all belong to the same private club, and their support helped me through my diagnosis, treatment and recovery. We've become even closer friends than before my surgery.
So, based on my own experience, all of you have a good thing going. Perhaps I will join you someday. In the meantime, keep on doing what you're doing. I'm very impressed.
