My AFLAC policy was written long before Xtandi and Zytiga were even thoughts, much less products. They are not included in my coverage, per the call center folks. But they suggested I submit them anyway, now that I am on full chemo. Rationale is that they are now part of a path of treatment leading to that chemo, and could be reconsidered in the larger scheme of things.
I have not redone the claim, so cannot give news yet. I can say that when I sent in my surgery and RT claims, they found things to pay me for that I didn't even know were in the bills. They did a great job, in my opinion.
