Welcome to HW.
And listen to TA, he knows his stuff.
I understand the scared freaked out part, but don't rush into a knife. You have plenty of options. PC is a slow grower and you've got months and months to pick a treatment. AS (active surveillance) is a possibility - it avoids unneeded surgery and all the side effects. The reality is that not all cancers need to be treated, over treatment happens a lot because we have emotional reactions. PC is not a death sentence and unlikely to cause you any problems for years, decades (maybe ever).
Surgery will work, but you have other possibly better options.
Slow way done and learn more.
I'll be in the shop.
