You are in good hands at MSK.
$7200 for a PSMA scan is too much. UCLA only charges $2650 (it would be worth it to fly out to LA). Or you can get one for free at NIH.
If you can't find any distant metastases, salvage radiation may be curative but the androgen deprivation trial won't be (although it may delay progression). It looks like you can still get into the trial if salvage radiation fails.
