If you're doing just one shot, and you're not on any HT now, keep in mind that from a standing start it takes Lupron nearly a month to suppress your testosterone. If you were already on it, already suppressed, and thinking about
extending for 3 or 4 months I might think it wouldn't matter much.
But since it sounds like you're just initiating HT for this one cycle, a 3 month shot seems like it would only give you about
2 months of actual beneficially low testosterone. Perhaps you could add a month of Casodex until your T drops below 50.
Is the idea just to have no T while receiving radiation, for the synergistic effect?
