Sorry for the diagnosis, but welcome to the forum. As others have already mentioned, you will get a great deal of information and support here, but don't stop there. Educate yourself on this disease. Learn and read everything you can. This group will be here to support you if you have any questions, feel down or just need to vent. We all understand.
As far as missing your co-workers goes, someone else mentioned dropping in for a visit once in a while. You've spent a good portion of your life with these people. Cold turkey withdrawal may be bad. Stop in, no need to talk about
cancer, although I'm sure the subject will come up. You all have probably been through thick and thin together. It'll do your mind and heart well. And getting your mind off this disease once in a while doesn't hurt either.
