Notice the endpoint is not overall survival but radiographic progression free survival.

Thanks RandyJoe and Saipan!!

Interesting, it would be perfect for me (I think) , hormone sensitive that is, I just wish my Onco would push forward with it.
Every time I suggest something he finds some reason not to.

Alephnull,

This isn't yet FDA approved, so your insurance might not cover it. Hopefully, the approval process won't take too long.

I would start pushing the MO and the insurance Company. Since they are already using the drug and reimbursing it this latest result should indicate FDA approval is not far off. Maybe your appeal to them can get results ahead of any FDA approval.
PSA 59 on 8-26-2010 age 60. Biopsy 9-8-2010 12/12 positive, 20-80% involved, PNI in 3 cores, G 3+3,3+4,and 4+3=G7, T2b.

PSA < .1 since February 2011. Located in Cumming Georgia north of Atlanta

When I start ADT I think I would rather be taking Xtandi than Zytiga. My understanding is that there are no meal restrictions or prednisone requirements with Xtandi.
Part I
2015 (Age 54) PSA: 20.8
Bx: All cores high volume G7 (4+3)
RALP & Adjuvant RT
Pathology: G8 (4+4), focal areas of 5; Positive margins; 3 LNs negative
PSA nadir: 0.1
Steady PSA increase. June 2018: 22.3

Part II
2018
Starting Lupron/Zytiga soon.

Mattamx, Yep no prednisone and no meal restrictions. However, Randy does report that if he takes his Xtandi/placebo before he eats, he feels sick.
