the plight of the old man -- my Dad probably said the same thing. Alvin Toffler wrote about
it in Future Shock. i'm more tech savvy than most guys my age but more resistant to change than a younger person. still i'm at that cut-off age where many have been left behind.
when my brother recently died I had finally gave up trying to communicate with his friends, and they are only two years older than me. I sent calendars to all of them and two wrote letters back to me instead of texting.
one swears he does not receive my texts, but I get his. one will only email, and that takes awhile.
