Guess I'll take this as a small win in this battle that started just a few months ago.

Just need to watch the Zytiga side effects as my liver enzymes (ALT) doubled over the past 6 weeks. Still, it appears the upper threshold for stopping is if you hit 5x the original baseline.

Now I just need to get through 20 EBRT treatments and another 14-22 months of ADT....and then hope T comes back and PSA remains undetectable til the day I die in my sleep from something else. Wow...spelling that out made me realize this journey has a long way to go.

Anyway, thanks to all for the participation in this forum. Such a helpful resource and friendly crowd.
Time to go check the waves....
52 year old. DX 6/18. PSA 10.8. GS 4+3.
8/18 - RALP at Stanford. Neg margins, 15 neg nodes, neg bone, CT, PSMA/PET scan. PT2c.
9/18 PSA 4.0!
11/18 - PSA 4.5 - Axumin and 2nd review of PSMA id 2 pelvic lymph nodes. Started Lupron.
12/18 - PSA 0.37. Started Zytiga. Starting EBRT (35 fractions, 70 & 50 gr.) at Stanford.
1/19 - PSA <0.05 ng/mL.

Good news on the PSA.

It's an endurance test - you'll make it.

As Andrew said, the EBRT is a marathon, but you'll get through it, its not too difficult.

Congrats on the undetectable, thats a big win, not a small one.

I agree with Pratoman - that really is fantastic after everything you've been through already. A great result, and wishing you many more zeros!

My liver enzymes just missed the 5x mark, Stopped Zytiga for 7 weeks to get back to normal. Started back at 1/2 dose and now on 3/4 dose. ALT & AST are on the rise again. More blood work in store. My phleb loves me. She's my wife.

11/12 cores 2 4+4
RALP 7/27/17; 3 pos nodes
No RT b/c scan show multiple bone mets
Clev Clinic ups to to G9
CClinic MO+my MO say ADT+Zytiga+Pred
psa post op 0.15 to 0.28
lupron 11/17
start zytiga 12/15
psa 12/28 0.03
4/4/18=<0.01
7/3=<0.01
stop Zytiga 7/16 bad liver #'s
9/11/18 restart Zytiga
9/17 down to 1/2 dose
10/5=<0.01
10/30 start 3/4 dose
1/19=<0.01 but liver#'s up again
