The substance of the post is all in the header. Hypocrisy is vice's homage to virtue indeed. So very, very true. And we so enjoy pointing out the hypocrisy of others, while never noticing our own.

Got that.

Is this an OT Quote-of-the-day thread? If so, I’ve got some great quotes.

We!...Halbert...We!...what?...you got one mouse in your pocket....get some originality...google can only go so far...so far the thread lives ...go for it BJ...it wont last long...but do know it will not be your post that is the trigger...you see your posts are self indicting and reaffirm your silliness...one mod at least...knows this...so lets your post stand...where as... my posts indict others...honestly and truthfully..(.this can not stand.).... for one word,,,in air quotes...no less...a very long and well thought out post( of course my opinion..) too well understood apparently for the whole thang was deleted.....the whole thang...ouch...apparently he thought he helped the OP...he didn't...the OP knows this...ahh he is own line...I do not believe the first paragraph of your defence a defence that was better off not even written...you know Im right...but your position in flesh is more important to you shame.. BTW I am an equal opportunity annoyer no one is "safe' from the sting of my inocculations or my speeling… Its all tribal...40 yeaers or so we will be past this...so all your hurts and angst will actuall help your ascendents...no worries...be happy it won't crack the skin

What does it mean to be virtuous? After all, I am convinced of my own virtue and deny the existence of my vices--which is the heart of hypocrisy is it not?

All of us, of course, have our virtuous moments--or even days in a row--then the temptation to vice gets the better of us. To quote St. Paul--if that is within the realm of acceptable here---or perhaps misquote from memory----the things that I do, I do not wish to do, the things that I wish to do, I am unable to do, save me from this body of death!--this is the heart of the human condition

I totally agree with your quote, but I am confused by this entire thread. I don't know what is going on or what is being referred to. Was something deleted? ( not confused by the title- that is probably clear and true, just by most of the rest)

BB - consider just the title and poster. Nothing's been deleted.
