.....I moved my PCP away from the VA after the PCP I had had for 10 years missed the PCa.
Understand that PCa was off my radar screen back then. I really didn't understand the risks or anything about it to include what PSA was.
I was lucky in that I started having BPH issues...
So I just couldn't trust her anymore and of course was somewhat pissed. So I went outside the system and now have a GREAT provider.
I had almost the exact same experience Roger, and unfortunately it included my 110 year old VA urologist. Be very wary of some, on-the-job, retired VA docs, my brothers!
