Okay, just one more before this current "Friday humor" thread slips away.
Hasn't quite slipped away yet ;)
Two hunters charter a plane to take them to the wilds of Alaska to go hunting, a float plane to land on the lake where they are going to hunt. The plane arrives to take them back, and they have this huge moose all dressed out and ready to take home. Pilot says, that thing has to weigh nearly a thousand pounds! No way I can take off with that onboard. The two guys say, oh hell, we did the same thing last year and the pilot didn't wuss out. C'mon, be a man. After berating him for a while he says, OK, if the other pilot managed it I can too.
So, they load the huge animal on the plane, hop on board, and the pilot gets at the far end of the lake to give himself the most room to take off he can get. He maxes out the throttle, they barely make it into the air at the end of the lake, plane stalls out and crashes. As they climb out of the wreckage, one hunter looks to the other and says, "hey, we made it at least a hundred yards farther than last year!"
