I echo Alephnull's thoughts on this soon to be locked thread. I read that he was given five years to live. There most likely is a disconnect somewhere, or a dramatization for a famous person. It seems unlikely someone with such a dire prognosis would make it 27 years. But, my MO said one of his patients was on Lupron for 17 years. You never know.
