When my PSA hit 4.5 I got referred to a uro for followup. My first uro was a rich boy who inherited his dad's practice in the local hospital. He tortured me for 45 minutes as he chatted up a resident. Results? "Your prostate is big." That was it.
2 years later PSA hit 7.5. Lather, rinse, repeat, only it hurt more. I started to hear that unmistakable "quack quack" as I left. When PSA hit 11.1 my doc wanted me to go to him again, but I said no. He referred me to another (more competent) uro. 12/12 cores G7.
Then I got cut, chemed and cooked, but that hasn't worked.
Just 'cause it looks like a doctor don't mean it is a doctor.
