You really don't need to know how the sausage is made. The RALP procedure is a little more extensive and invasive than how they typically describe it and they kick you out in 24 hours if you can walk a few steps. It is better being at home a day after surgery as hospitals are dangerous by their very nature but you recover at home learning about
the catheter and other things as they come up, baptism by fire I suppose. They will not let you snag the catheter line in the hospital but you will figure that out quickly at home as an example.
