An existential question? Nope. As practical as it gets.

Artificial. That’s what this is. It’s what this has turned me into. (I can’t even say what “this” is. Even though it’s a “this” forum.

It’s unnatural. It”s not an arm or a leg that’s been amputated. It’s who I was.
There’s nothing natural about this.

“Dirt is a mixture of a whole lot of “stuff” such as rocks, sand, clay, and organic matter. The characteristics of the dirt in your area depend on the weather, the combinations of rocks, sands and clays, your geographic location, and what kind of organic matters are in the soil.”

Can man remove the “organic matter”, or rock, from dirt, and it still be used as it was originally (naturally) designed to be used for?

Between a lifetime of MH issues and the side-effects of various PCa treatments, I Sometimes feel like styrofoam. I’m half-serious, but that’s how I’ve always described it. I think I may understand you, IT.

On the other hand, my MH symptoms have been at about 50% remission for many years, and my PSA is undetectable. Life ain’t so bad.

(and not suggesting that you’re suggesting yours is IT.🙂)

"I think, therefore I drink" (?)

IT, you are still you, whether you have all your parts or not. The you, the real you, the part of you that 'you' are is not embedded in your pelvis. It is in that part of you that cannot be clearly identified.

Obviously, that is the Dark and Stormy (Appleton's and Crabbies) talking. I don't usually put on my Logos hat.

And yet, it is true. We are not our prostates, or our wisdom teeth, or our appendixes, or our gall bladders, or any part that has been removed. We are the sum of all our life experiences. And that is a good thing.
