"You can't outrun your fork." LOL ain't that the truth. And, yeah when I do five miles I get hungry as all hell.
So true about
the fork being able to outrun me. I don't think I have ever lost an oz with exercise alone, except on a 30 day backpacking/mountaineering trip, despite 3000 calories per day rationed. Buy carrying that heavy pack up and down steep mountains many hours every day took of 22 lbs in 30 days, despite a very high fat/high calorie/ high carb diet. But that is the only time exercise alone worked for me.
Speaking of outrunning my fork, today has been a fast day(supper to supper), those have been mighty few since Thanksgiving. Really looking forward to supper in 3-4 hours, and wondering if I can pull off another fast until supper tomorrow. In order to feel guilt free for the Christmas Eve and Day feasting that is sure to come. I'm hoping I can get back on the wagon after the New year.
