Apologies if this has been addressed previously, but a thought hit me earlier that this forum could use another pinned thread listing recommended books to read followed by any comments members wish to leave (positive or negative) regarding how helpful or informative they found the various books. Shortly after I was diagnosed, a friend, who went down this path years earlier, lent me a couple books that were very helpful in understanding what my options were and what questions to ask during consultations. What brought it back to mind was at my appointment yesterday my doctor said we'll need to talk about starting hormone therapy at the next appointment and he gave me a book to read on the subject (Androgen Deprivation Therapy - An Essential Guide for Prostate Cancer Patients and Their Loved Ones by Richard Wassersug and others).
Anyways, just an idea for consideration.
