I would like to know if there are any folks out there, that have done nothing other than the RP, and where they're at today. Might seem radical, but I'm needing to see both sides of the spectrum. I don't have access to the wild numbers everyone has on their profile, and honestly have never seen them before. I'd have to copy all the test criteria I've seen, minus results, and send them to the docs to see how I'd compare. I also have a hernia that needs to be repaired, and I'd have to have open surgery vs scope after radiation. That in itself leans me toward doing the hernia first, possible radiation after.
John, w9th a PSA of .66, assuming it’s been trending fir a while, you def have BCR. I think I recall, average time from BCR to CLINICALLY CONFIRMED metastasis, is 8 years, and from that point , average time to death, is 5 years.
Of course that’s average, any individual could experience longer or shorter time to these endpoints.
You are 57 years old. Do you feel that lucky? I wouldn’t advise doing nothing (I assume I’m correct in interpreting your question/last post that way.
