Serious question: would it be different in West or Central Tennessee? While I know Memphis is on the west part of the state and that Nashville (the only Tennessee city that I've been to) is in the middle of the state, I can't say I know much about the eastern part...
Michael, I just (falsely) assumed that with my history, getting a script
for Viagra would be as easy as buying a bottle of asprin. I assumed wrong. Here's my experience with the medical community in E. TN. It's beautiful here. It's one of the cheapest places in the Nation to live. A lot of water, nature, mountains, etc.....the quality of life here is great. Except for....there is no good medicine. (and I don't mean this to turn into doctor bashing at all). But, the medical community is a weak link. It's southern Appalachia. Middle TN wouldn't be near the problem with Vanderbilt. But, here....there is a teaching hospitial here. The one thing on their mind when they are at work is....."When do I get off work?" There is just no "Patient First" medical culture here. And, as Forest Gump would say, "And that's all I have to say about
I don't mean to be negative. It's a great place to live. And, that plays a huge role in why doctors practice here. (If you catch my drift)
