Being under the care of my uro and my case pretty stable and currently following an AS program, I'm scheduled for my annual MRI in March 2021. I last saw my urologist in person in August 2020. I am scheduled to follow up with my uro in April 2021. Back in August 2020, we talked about possibly doing a bx this spring or summer since my last bx was in 2018 and he thinks 3 years may be a good time to revisit. There's some old literature circa spring 2020 about holding off on appointments but spring 2020 seems like ages ago. I've kept up with my other medical procedures like echo's, ultrasounds, dental, etc and I've always felt safe. I will contact my team about this of course. Anyone know how to sanitize an MRI machine?

Had a few scans this last year, no problems and almost like normal. The machinery does not touch you so they seem to just clean or replace touch surface items. Really seemed like before Covid only with masks on, less people in waiting room, and no one can come with you. Many scans are at hospitals and they have the Covid precautions down pretty well. My wife has had similar experiences to me. I think my first one was in June as I recall and was a non event.
