Thanks to everyone for the explanations. I looked at the result again, and there was no < sign after all. (I must have dreamt that part!). It just said 0.01. The lab (where I had the blood drawn) was Pacific Diagnostics in Santa Barbara, CA. I’m not sure if they sent it out for testing or not.

Even without the sign, you're doing very well. Some very highly regarded centers use PSA tests that only go down to 0.1, in which case you would be undetectable. You have a long ways to go before assuming there any problems.

Patrick, yes, very good news, even without the <. Many docs don't declare someone cancer free until there are at least 2 < tests 3 months apart anyway. Also, many will say that a 3 month post surgery test is the definitive result...even 8 weeks is too soon.

Either way, you're doing great. The virtual bar is open, and you're buying. smile
