Gentlemen: I realize that any type of RT can cause issues years after said therapy. I seem to recall that scar tissue can form and become problematic. I have been the unfortunate victim of kidney stones and, up until a very recent one, have passed them rather quickly. Number three kidney stone has presented complications. Said stone is 4mm and traveling much slower than those in the past.

My question, could scar tissue have since formed from BT delivered in 2014 which might be part of the slow down? Your thoughts please.

Browntrout, i did a google search, looked at the top 5 or 6 hits and didnt find any connection between Brachy and Kidney stones or other kidney disorders.

Hello, BROWNTROUT ~~~

I feel for you, my compadre!

I have had two kidney stone "episodes" ~~~ no warning, painful beyond all words, and when the pain episodes hit --- they can be incapacitating.

One episode hit while I was busy teaching school. Out of the blue!

The other episode hit while I was out to dinner, at a fancy restaurant.

In both cases, I ended up in the emergency room.

It can take a while for the stone to pass through your "waterworks" ... patience is a virtue, as they say.

Above ALL ELSE ... keep drinking water ... it's the surest way to keep things "flowing" ... and the best way of getting the kidney stone to pass.

My lesson learned?

"DRINK THE WATER!"

Sending you my best ~~~
