To clarify, IVM is Ivermectin. A long used drug that has been in the news a lot over the last 18 months, one most of us had never known about.

Yes, thank you, Alephnull. That is indeed very interesting. Particularly since I had JUST been reading about
similar - but older - studies regarding the exact same subject. So thanks for the link about
this old, and yet 2015 Nobel prize winning(rather the men who discovered it got that prize) drug which has proved so helpful for millions of people world wide. And which is on the WHO list of essential safe and effective drugs. It will be a blessing if it(or any other older, available cheap drugs) has benefits other than what it was originally approved for. Sort of like the possibilities we have heard about
