10 years ago my urologist and radiation oncologist gave me a life expectancy of 10 years. I made it and now have 4 grandkids to enjoy (ages 1 to 6) and retired at the beach! Life is great!

I remember the bad times during the fight so I am spreading some cheer to the G9’s that there is always hope for positive results!!

Take care!!

Thanks for the update Dave, someone has to ruin the statistics on the good side of the bell curve. Keeps my spirits high after making it three years.

Hey, Dave great to hear this! Not sure if you remember, but we had similar diagnoses and the same treatment plan and you were so very helpful and encouraging to me. I hope to be following when I hit the 10 year mark!

Terrific to hear G9’s doing so well. For those choosing the triple play…how are the side effects? Wishing you guys low numbers down the road. Terry

Hello, Dave ---

When I was first diagnosed, I was facing a whirlwind of diagnostic tests, scans, and new treatments.

We have new members joining us often --- reading or posting here for the first time.

Your story shares HOPE --- and we celebrate your personal story of long-term treatment success.

I'm rowing my lifeboat in your wake, diagnosed back in 2013 ...

Keep that lighthouse beacon LIT for the rest of us, Dave!

Mark the moment, and celebrate that MILESTONE!

Handshake, congratulations, best wishes ---

Michael_T,

Good to see that your PSA is 0.03. That is great news. Yes, 9 years ago we were e-mailing from the east coast to the west coast helping each other with words of encouragement and it looks like it has paid off for the two of us.

Take care,

Dave
