Is anyone else getting the pop up ads that are covering the content on the page? This has been happening to me on HW only for the last couple of days. I understand the need for ads but this is freakin' obnoxious.

I use Firefox with ad blockers and have not had any issues.

No problems with iPad and Safari. All ads are below site due to formatting.

Which OS and browser are you having these issues?

Jim, I’ve been getting video ads opening automatically, and they do cover content , until I scroll. It’s been going on for about a month and yes, it’s very annoying

My ads are fine and I can even report that there's now a new version of the buxom cartoon lady. I'm using a Mac and Safari. Healingwell is actually one of the few websites where I get ads. I use an ad blocker, but I turned it off for Healingwell since I didn't know if that would help the owner get a few bucks from my visit. Or do I actually have to click on an ad to generate revenue for the site?

Windows with Chrome. Very annoying.

W10 with Chrome. Yes, if I scroll all the way down to an ad and then scroll up, it follows and obliterates 30% of the content. I have to "x-out" the ad.

Thanks, guys. I'll report this to the site owner. I understand we need to have ads but this is over the top (literally).

IPad with Safari and MacOS with Firefox are not presenting this problem for me.

I might suggest trying Firefox with the privacy settings set as you like them and see if the problem persists. I am not using any ad blockers, just what is built in. It is a free and simple to check.

I have had a similar issue with some other sites that have all sorts of pop ups, etc.

I too use an Ad Blocker (adblock plus) and don't see any ads unless I scroll down past the posts... Then I see a video and it follows be when I scroll back up..... The "X" button to close works well.

WIN 10 and Firefox with AdBlocker Ultimate here. I get the video at the bottom which goes to the side after I hit it. No big deal though...of course the adblocker currently says it has stopped 50 and counting pop-ups on this page. Love that adblocker. smile
