I just ordered some Selenium for Curtis and was wondering how much to give him and exactly what does it do for him?  I think I read about...heck I must have, but can't remember now what it does.

I took 200 micrograms a day, which is the dose/tablet most commonly seen in the drugstores and pharmacies.  I took this daily for years to prevent PCa, but stopped taking it after my prostatectomy.

Tim,

Isn't it suppose to help keep you from getting other forms of cancer too...beside prostate?

It may. I took it for prostate cancer prevention only.

Selenium has wonder benefits. One is that it is essential for healthy thyroid function. Aside from its chemopreventative benefits we feel more energetic when we get enough selenium in our diets. People with sluggish thyroid function usually are a little deficient
