hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that the doctor called and told us the good news - margins were clear, Gleason was 6, cancer is gone! it was strange that he left this on the answering machine, but it was still good news. Jeff and I hugged and cried and promptly told the kids, who were also very excited. so on to more recovery....

That is wonderful news Kat. It is one of those happy things that really makes my day. I hope you and Jeff have a special dinner celebration tonight. Now I wish you both a very speedy recovery.

Congrats!  It is such a relief when you get the good news of the pathology report.  I am very happy for you both.  First hurtle done with getting the cancer out.  Now you can tackle recovery.

Kat,
Boy that's the truth. I also came here a month or so ago scared and confused and have been helped tremendously by all the wonderful people in here. Makes going thur this awful process much easier to know others have been there and know exactly what we will be going through.
