hi everyone

my dads getting his bone scan today . i told him we cant go to the coffee shop as he cant be around children . then again we could and the children will be glowing like little eluminous martians (he he) .anyway fingers crossed for him as he is very nervous about the results . he will not know untill next week . i gave him a lot of the information on the three procedures the doctor told him about and after reading them he said he was not getting them done . i think he just needs to digest the information and then he should be fine .i was reading some post and was delighted to read that some of you are having good recoverys .

thanks again for all your help .

i will let you know how it goes

psa 12.3    biopsys 7 0ut of 9 positive  gleason 3+4 = 7

ps. i am feeling positive for him as there was a thread where someone had a lot of numbers higher than his and the pc had not spread .

Petal,

Curtis just has his bone scan a week ago last Monday and we were pretty worried because he had a hot spot, but it turned out to just be arthritis.  So don't worry just because there is something showing up on the scan that's not normal and they want to take an xray of that part.  It will take a few days for the doctor to get back to you and it doesn't help for you two to be all upset...ha!!  Easy for me to say!!!

Hi, Petal. Your dad is responding much like my husband did while we digested all the choices. Every few days, he'd say to heck with it, we're just going to do watchful waiting. Then, he'd get his senses back and we'd go over our options once again. So, as he works it through in his head, I imagine he'll start eliminating each choice until you reach the one that is right for him.

Enjoy Portugal! And try not to worry too much. Your dad will be just fine.

Hi Petal,

Our thoughts are with you! Have a wonderful trip and we want to hear all about it when you come home.
I'm so happy you didn't cancel it..... because what will be will be..... right!!

You can deal with what ever you need to deal with ~ after you've had a little "down" time.
Even though I'm sure you are going, going, and going..... seeing sights and all.
It's a different kinda tired...... :)

Check back with us when you can. Enjoy!!! your travels..

In Friendship, Lee
