Hello all!

Just a quick update to let you know my husband is home and feeling good. The biopsy went very well. He was rather nervous, as one would expect, but said that after saying hello to the doctor the next thing he remembered was waking up! He had very little pain last night, and is doing splendidly this morning.

The doctor said that he did not see anything that looked cancerous....which will make the weekend wait a little easier to get through. Of course, we will be nervous until we get the official word but we are keeping the faith and continuing with prayers.

I will update again when I hear more. I have to say that the comforting words and genuine concern of all of you has made this scary journey more bearable; knowing we have friends to travel with along the way. Thank you all so very much....and please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Blessings,

Sara

Sara - I know you both are glad it's over. And it makes it so much better to get a doctor's comment. They don't usually give news like that unless they're reasonably sure it's all clear. We'll be very eager to hear the final results, but it looks like you're good!

Hi Sara,

Thats great news, both that the biopsy is over and went well and also the doctors comments.  I'm sure you'll both feel better, and already feel better since you've gone ahead and got the biopsy.

I'm sure the doctor told you about the side affects from the biopsy concerning blood in the urin and semen.  My husband was at first a little distressed by this to say the least, but I just kept telling him it was normal and would get less and less over the next few days to a week or so and then be gone, and it was.  I guess I'm just trying to make you aware or prepare you that this might be a little distressfull for you husband and if he's like mine he'll need some reassurance!

Hope you both can have a great weekend now.

Wishing you the best,

Hi Sara,

Glad to hear that your husband got through the biopsy ok, and that the doctor seemed optimistic about the outcome. We are hoping you all avoid becoming members of this club. So good luck, and keep us posted when you get a chance.

Glen
