When I went home for lunch today, my wife showed me a gift bag she had received from a friend. The lady is not one of her close friends, so this came as a surprise. The bag contained 2 magazines, a pack of pens, thank you notes, and a deck of cards for "solitaire or gin rummy if Tony is feeling up to it...". This lady's father in law has had the RP surgery and thought enough of my wife to supply her with a care package for the waiting room.

Just got home and peeked in the bag. There were also M&M's, chewing gum and a can of Pringles. I believe they covered all the bases.

Hi ~ Dawgfan & Family,

What a special gift your wife received…… from someone who’s been there and knows exactly what to expect.

I just wonder who might get into that goody bag first?? You, da pooch, or mama? LOL  yeah

Thank you for sharing this wonderful story…..  There are so many little things that a person can do to let someone know they care.  This is truly special.

I also posted under DAWGFAN…. New thread from 56 Pontiac J

Keeping you close as you near your date….  We will be right there with you!!!!!

"GOD Bless You"

It's a little prayer "GOD Bless You"...

but it means so much each day,

It means may angels guard you

and guide you on your way.
