Well I had my biopsy 2 days ago and survived.  If it wans't for the anxiety it wouldn't have been half bad!!

I do have one question for all of you.  I still have blood in my urine after 2 days.  Can anyone tell me what their experence was.  I don't want to panic yet.  Doctor told me to give it a few days.

I get mey results in a few days and I am hoping for the best.

Thanks

Joe in NYC

Hi Joe101

First, don't panic!  Blood in the urine is quite normal and also blood in the semen for several weeks.  It cleared out of my husbands urine first after a week or so but took longer to clear out of his semen.  I think the anxiety of waiting, like you said, is the worst part of anything, biopsy, surgery or whatever.  It will clear out, just give it time.

Sincerely,

Letty is right on. Blood in urine and semen for a couple weeks. Nothing to be concerned with. That's just the way it is after a biopsy. You are right, the anxiety is the worse part and it is the same if you end up going down the surgery road. The waiting thinking and anxiety is really the hardest and most painful part of it all. Let us know what the results are on your biopsy. We do care.

Hi Joe,

Ditto. It was the same here 1-2 weeks, and a gradual improvement. The worst thing is not knowing what the heck to expect, or what is going on. That is why the more you ask questions and get answers the less you worry & stress-out. Good luck on the biopsy results; we'll be here for you if you need us.
