Man O man, you go away for one weekend and look what happens. More and more people joining this site. I have been remiss in my postings, replies, good wishes, etc and seem to be falling way behind. So I thought I would take the easy way out and do a great big welcome to all the new guys and thier wives and a big thank you to all the verterans out there. Welcome guys. If your like me this is probably the last place you would have thought to go surfing for recently or months ago. But again a big heartfelt welcome. You could not have found a greater group of concerned and caring humans anywhere on this great big internet. To the veterans, thanks for al the outstanding success stories and personal advice and good wishes. (geez I am about to make myself cry tongue ) Boy, can you tell I am heading to surgery this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To all the newbies, may you have your personal guardian angel at your side throughout this journey we face. An angel that steadies the surgeons hand, sits at you side in the dark space of sleep and welcomes you back with a ray of sunshine and good news. If you don't have a guardian angel your wife will do. Just kidding wives, you truly are the most important part of the "team"

Wish me luck and I will talk to everyone on the flip side.

Hi daveed,

I know you will be just fine, and this surgery will be over in the blink of an eye. Best wishes to you, and post us when you get home.

The nice thing about surgery is that you go to sleep - then you wake up and it's over.  We wish you the best.

The very best from us, Daveed. Even when you "know what to expect," there are still those apprehensive moments that are normal - for us, anyway - pre-surgery. They will pass as quickly as the surgery and then we will be here to greet you on the other side. Woohoo for that!

Daveed, You are going to be fine! I was thinking that we are lucky to be going thru this now and not a few years ago. I think Surgeons think more about saving sexual function and incontinence now than before. I know I am doing better than I expected. We will be here when you are done!! All the Best!!! Shepla 59 3.3 PSA 3+3=6 open RP 10/12/06 Pathology report all clear so far.

Daveed,
Hey friend. I really wanted to stop in at HF and maybe I still can. I'm stuck going to Toledo on business tomorrow but I am still going to try. Paul is already on duty. In the mean time, you just get this thing over with and get back home. The Lions sure could use an arm chair quarterback......it may be their only hope! Hugs, Swim
