Hi Bluebird,

Doing ok here, thanks for asking.  I'm just waiting for Curtis to stop be sore when he sits down so we can start going places...Only place we go now is the doctors and I'm still doing all the driving.

I think he hurt himself the other night when he had awful gas and was straining to get rid of it.  Anyway his "taint" is so sore that he has trouble sitting or even lying down now..Also wondering if he's doing to much walking so he's going to cut back on that for a few days and see how he feels.

Other than that he seems to be doing fine and is anxious to get back out to working on his shop.  Next step is putting up the plywood so he can start moving in his equipment.

Hi Ellen!
Please make sure Curis doesn't do anything too strenuous too soon! Bob's doctor told him NOT to lift anything heavier than a phone book for 6 weeks. So, moving equipment into a shop or lifting sheets of plywood would definitely be way too much.

As for the soreness, have you guys mentioned this to the doctor??? Just sounds a bit unusual following a DaVinci I think. . . . Maybe there's an infection brewing . . . .certainly worth a phone call or check.

Take care and keep us all posted.

Hi Linda,

Oh he won't be lifting anything in his shop until at least after his 6 weeks are up and even then I'm trying to talk him into hiring someone to hang the plywood.

We were at the doctor's Monday and he said it was normal to have the sore spot and that it could last a couple of months so guess we'll give it a bit more time and see what happens.

I hope Bob is doing well and progressing nicely!!!

Hi Blue,

Just had the results of Curtis' second PSA Tuesday and it was 0 again!!  He's tried all three erectial disfunction pills with no luck and the doctor mentioned the shots.  I didn't think Curtis would be interested in such a thing, but he said maybe later...so well see.  I don't think I'd want a shot in my tender parts!!!  tongue I'm not pushing him cause he has no interest in sex right now.  I've heard that the urge will come back....eventually so we'll wait and see.  I'm just glad that his PSA was nil again!!!  That's the most important thing.

How have you two been doing?

Dear Wicket   ~ Ellen & Curtis ~   There are those who will always remain a little “extra close”!!!  Because of the timing and the special sharing that took place while we walked together on our paths with prostate cancer.   You and Curtis are part of that “extra close” circle of friends.   And as we move forward on our own path….more new friends come along and some will fall into that “extra special” category.     I never want to lose contact with our “extra special” friends.   Even if it’s just a little “Hi”… that’s all we need to make our hearts warm and to know that you both are okay!… is what the communication is all about .   Each and every~day is a new day for all of us!   Let’s continue moving on to the next stepping-stone in this wonderful life we share.   A nice reminder ~ we are all under the same stars, moon, and the sun.   This is very comforting.   You will always be in our thoughts and prayers, In Continued Friendship ~ Lee & Buddy   This “TOPIC” is so important it truly needed its own “Thread”…. (direct link ~ just click on the title!   Reminder to click on the REFRESH icon once there)   Second PSA came back 0!!!   Started by Wicket 3-10-2007
