Lee & Buddy - Thanks for the great supportive message(s).  We will be leaving around the 5th of July and heading east into Ontario (Timmins) where our daughter, son in law and darling grandkids live.  Our third grandchild (a boy) is due August 25th and we plan to stay until that occurs.  The oldest (Joshua)  will be 7 on the 29th of August, so I doubt he'll let his "mama" and "papa" leave before that. His sister is Kaylee and she's 4 - 1/2.  They are our only grandkids and we've not seen them since Christmas 2005, so we are really excited.  We will probably be home shortly after the first weekend in September.

We will be camping at a lake near their place where they also keep a camping unit.  They plan to be out there as much as possible during that time as pregnancy permits.  They had a 3-D ultra sound yesterday in Toronto and emailed me a pic of a very cute little grandson.  His name is Logan Robert, with the middle name being after Bob.

During that time we will only have internet access intermitently, but will in those times check in with our Healing Well friends.

Lee, I too value our friendship that we've formed through this forum and look forward to your positive and inspirational comments.

I hope you and Buddy also have a wonderful summer.

Woooo Hooooo! We are carrying on with our "planned" lifetime of ZEROOOO's on the PSA front. Just got back from visit with urologist who is very positive about a year and a half of "undetectibles" . . we feel very blessed. Just wanted to add this to our thread. If it wasn't for the support we've received in this forum we'd never have gotten here so unstressed.

Speaking of stress . . . . every PSA, even at this stage where we expect to hear that "undetectible" result, still has it's breath holding moments until the doctor delivers the magic words. Those of you awaiting surgery, you too will travel the journey on the "other side", which only gets better as time goes on. We keep you all in our prayers.

Linda & Bob,

What great news!  Every time I see someone post results like that it helps me to believe we can do the same!

Terrific news! What a long haul, yet it seems like yesterday when many of us were still on "that" side. Congrats to you two.

Linda and Bob,

Thanks so much for sharing your journey.  My surgery date is close to yours (March 27th). My recovery is very close to yours as described.

Good luck to you and I and my wife shall keep you in our prayers.

Today we saw Bob's Urologist for our final visit to follow up the surgery . . . . TWO YEARS WITH A ZERO PSA!!  Whooo hooooo!  Now Bob's general practitioner can follow up yearly at the annual physical by ordering the PSA with all the bloodwork.

This is truly the result we would wish on everyone with this disease.

yeah   yeah yeah

We continue to visit this forum (although not as often) and will always cherish the companionship we garnered here along with the vast wealth of information as we journeyed, following our path on the "stepping stones". . . . . . will always remember Lee and Buddy as we think of and travel on our stones.

Bob and Linda,
I was blessed when I first met you as one of the "original" members to me. So it is really fitting that I start to head into my second year of zeros along with you with hope for the same result. And I didn't know I could do it wither. I think of Lee and Buddy enough to stay in touch with them. And so many other wonderful members.

May God bless you all, and great job getting well, lawink.

Ditto to  all the congratulations on hitting the two-years mark with a zero PSA.  I, too, had an undetectable PSA at two years, but will continue PSA testing every six months for awhile rather than stretching it to yearly.
