Had two appointments today. The first dealt with Kegels. The nurse stuck some sensors to me. One to each cheek and a few more to my abdomen. A monitor displayed what looked like an EKG with two lines. The top registered as you did a Kegel and the bottom only registered if you did it wrong - using abdomenal muscles. She had me do the exercise a couple of times and the graphics indicated how well I did them. There's a real fine line between right and wrong here. I hope you can each try this because I have been doing them all wrong for months! Don't know if all offices offer this, but ask if you can.
On a lighter note, the doctor said, "that's the darndest thing I've ever seen" when I showed him my drain hole. It had been healing at a slower pace than anything else, then started expanding. It will be OK he says, but the look on his face was funny. It wasn't an "Oh crap" kind of bad thing, but more medically confounding to him.
Finally, when I told him about nighttime erections last week and our success at intercourse this past weekend, he said, "you had a hard-on all by yourself without drugs?". He seemed pleased, yet surprised since we had not had our ED appointment. He had me cancel the ED appointment in a couple of weeks and rescheduled to mid-January. He gave me a sample of Cialis and a script for more. I can't tell if he was more surprised at the "early" natural erection or tickled at his skill involving the nerve bundles! Either way...he's not as pleased as we are!
Hope all are well.
