Hi Bluebird,

We got home last night from a wonderul short trip to Knoxville.

I'm not gone. Just trying to get my brain focused on the more than 400 pages of material I need to have memorized for a state exam by next week!
Thanks for the hugs!

I couldn't agree more, Bluebird.  Swimom is intelligent, honest, courageous and she gives a darn.  Bloody fine human, I think.

Regards,

Bill

Okay, thanks you guys. Now I really have to read! Look at all the cheer leaders I have!

It's not a tough exam...cough, cough. Just long and wordy and unfortunately, required :>( Hopefully my services won't be required but if they are, it's nice to have a clue!

yeah   yeah Swim . . . .I noticed yesterday that Peter from Healing Well posted a request for a Prostate Cancer forum moderator.  Guess who I thought of as a "natural" for this position.

Now you sound like a busy person all right, but you are so good in here for all of us and you being the moderator would just be so right.

Might you consider??

Linda,

Now I know I sent a post about moderator. What happened to it? Strange!
I vote for Bluebird as moderator! Her posts are soooo much better than mine and she's got so much more computer smatrs than me. Heck, my kids won't let me touch their Pc's. I tend to make a mess every time I do...LOL!

Hi again!
Yes I agree with you, however, you have the medical knowledge that's required to be a moderator.  You really DO have my vote!!  I'm sure, being as it's volunteer that the time requirement is only when you are able but you could email Peter and get the details.  It's the medical know how that would be important.  I've read some on the Diabetic forum and the Aids Forum and find their moderators are able to answer so many of the medical issues (without of course being an actual doctor or diagnosis)

I think she would be great too, but lets not pressure her too much. She soulnd like a very busy person. I've been in situations myself when what I enjoyed became a job and it wasn't enjoyable anymore. We wouldn't want to loose her, so lets just accept her decision without too much pushing. Just my opinion.

confused   confused I'll give the idea some thought but no promises. We'll have to see what the next few weeks brings. Within a few weeks I'll either get very busy or stay about where I'm at now. With a kid entering college soon getting busier would certainly help the cause!

Fall semester is soooo much easier than winter and summer. I've been sitting at this silly computer doing all new outlines to match newer standards for months now. I suspect I may be teaching 3 courses rather than my usual one a semester this coming year. Plus, I do travel around SE Michigan/northern IN and OH instructing CERT and EER (employee emergency response) teams for a company that makes AED's. Things do get a little hairy during the winter lull but we'll see.

By the way.....where's Bluebird?

Thanks for the vote guys...and gals.
