Hey All you golfers out there.  I went out to play yesterday for the first time since being on this side of Surgery! The Dr. said to just take it easy for a while.  The weather was great 70* and NO wind in Oklahoma....what a deal!  I'm still dripping alot when getting in and out of cart, teeing and marking the ball,  even just standing over a shot!  I was just trying to make smooth 3/4 swings at the ball.  I shot 1 over my personal best, 10 over par.  I actually had two birdies back to back (would have been three but the putt lipped out). I could have shot lowes except for several green that I flew long because I was making great contact with the ball.  I guess there is something said about swinging easy.

Hope to get back out there soon......

Thanks for all the great info on here......KW

Hi KW,

Great to hear you're out swinging the clubs again, unfortunately I have the recesive gene for golf, and would not inflict myself upon my golfing friends. I do however appreciate the game and love to watch it played correctly by the professionals. I have not yet been able to return to my game (bowling) because of 2 hernia surgeries, but after the New Years I'll give it a try.

Well I hope you will soon be totally dry, and posting single digit rounds. Have a Happy Holidays, and a speedy recovery as well. (maybe I'll try a 3/4 bowling swing; we'll see).

KW

I had the exact same leaking. I went golfing 4 weeks after surgery (Thanksgiving day in Michigan). My brother had a great time at my expense because everytime I bent over I commented on leaking. Went through three pads that day. Did not play good that day but the next Sat shot 8 over.

Daveed,
I knew there had to be a few die-hards out there playing. The weather's been pretty good for Michigan. Hope you didn't pass up last Sunday's fabulous weather. A little too wet this week but all in all, golf in Michigan in December, not bad!!!!

Daveed,

I play once in a while when Walled Lake has their winter golf and softball tournements on the lake. It's a riot. Only not so good thing...the winner goes for a polar dip...BRRRRR! I always plan to lose..LOL! Police, Fire and EMS. A bunch of insane idiots who think training, the job and fun should be mixed. Not a good time for the winners to be men eh :>0
