Met with my surgeon yesterday for a six week follow up. Said mine was an unusual case that the cancer was so small they were suprised a biopsy needle could have found it. Just luck I guess. Any way first PSA less than 0.02 UNDETECTABLE. Chance of recurrence nil.Thats my Christmas present.

Merry Christmas to all and all the spouses

Daveed,

I was hoping that we would hear from you.  We had our Da Vinci's on the same day.  I have an appointment on Tuesday for my six week follow up and my first PSA check.  The post op path report was good and I too had a small single tumor located right in the center of the prostate.  I am still a little nervous about the PSA check.

Tamu

we basically had the same diagnosis and surgery the same day I can see no reason why your PSA should be any different then mine. Best of luck let us know as soon as possible

It made my day to read your good report, Daveed.  I, too, had a single small tumor, about the size of a pea. It was picked up on one biopsy sample of twelve.  Go figure!  I'm glad it's gone.  I have my 6-month follow-up with the surgeon and another PSA in a few weeks.

Merry Christmas, and may the New Year be exactly what you most hope for.

OK Gang here is where I am 8 months post surgery!!!!!

Incontinence is down to violent coughs or sneezes. It is getting better but is getting tiresome still wearing a pad for those accidental discharges.

ED. This seems to ge getting a lot better but is still dependent on the stars being perfectly aligned. I can get a very very usable erection now with just the Levitra a c^&%K ring and stimulation. Most of that has been on my own and am not 100% successful with my wife in attendance. I think this may be more performance anxiety than anything else. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this and I hope I am not setting myself up for problems in the future but as you all know we don't discharge on ejaculation. But I seem to be discharging urine at climax, I hope this is not some pyschological need to discharge something or it will stop in time. Let me know if anyone else experiences this.

PSA. Am really having a hard time just finding time to get in for my next blood test but i will let everyone know the results when I get them.

My field superintendent left my company so me,myself and I are doing all the work which is taking up most of my life. My son graduated from high school this year too.

But best of all my golf game has come back. I am 1 stoke out of second and 8 out of first. Exactly where I want to be mid season before I make my move to the top.

God bless you all veterans and newbies. Its been graet belonging to such a great group of caring people all these months. My best wishes to ALL.

daveed,
Great to hear from you again. My golf game is back to where it was as well. That's why I have taken to riding my dirt bike more...Hopefully you get that PSA soon. You know you need to. Take care and keep us posted.

Daveed,                               Here’s a Gentle Push ~ my friend…..                Please ~ don’t put it off!!!   You’ve come too far to let things slide.   Having a PSA test every 6 months is the highest priority for our Urologist….and personal physician.   Patients tend to not go back when they should….  This is a big NO-NO.      Guess another P~u~s~h      is in order…. Here goes………     >>> >> > >> U >>> G >>> H>> >> >>> >> >>> >> >>   there!!!!!   Now it’s time to make that appointment and Keep that appointment.     If not for “YOU” ~ Then do it for your family and do it for your HealingWell Family…. Why???   Because we love you!!!   Now ~ Just Do It!!!!!    We will be right here…..   Just Do It!!!!!   Special Hugs with a little extra squeeze in them from   ~ Lee & Buddy         We like the new signature line!!!!  Glad you did it!!!

Hey daveed,

Now that everything is going well you need to take time to do that PSA. I'll bet that once you've got that out of the way the peace-of-mind factor will extend the distance off the tee, better % of greens in regulation, improve your short iron accuracy, and take a shot or 2 off the back nine. Plus it'll be cheaper than the set of Callaway Fussions you might be looking at. Good luck on your score; PSA that is...
