So, in the midst of being 8 months post surgery and struggling to recover erectile capabilities, I have been checking around about alternative forms of therapy that could complement what I am already doing. One physician suggested looking into seeing a tantra specialist, which could help with a few different areas:
- adjusting to the new reality of my sexuality, physically, emotionally and spiritually
- learning not to focus on the penis as much and concentrating on the whole experience of sex
- full body orgasms as opposed to penis focused orgasms, and orgasms without erections
I have talked to a couple of specialists, and they have said they have had some experience with prostate cancer patients. The conversations have been somewhat enlightening, but I haven't pursued this therapy avenue yet.
I'm curious as to anyone has tried this, and what their experience has been...?
