I had DaVinci surgery 3/23 the doctor disected the lymph nodes. He stated it's a precautionary . Has anyone else had this done?

I still have the drain tube in, it will be removed when I have the catheter removed on thur the 30th

Grunt,

It was standard protocol with my surgeon. As he said, "If the cancer gets out of the prostate the lymph nodes are the normal place for the first stop and I want to know whether or not there is any there". You have plenty others that will take over for the ones you lost.
