2nd PSA 02-06-2007 Less than 0.1 Non-Detectable :)

Hey Izzy (Ken and Tanya),

Theres nothing more to do now. You have prepared yourselves as well as possible and you know that we will all be right here waiting on the other side for you to join us...

Age 72. Diagnosed 11/03/06. PSA 7.05. Stage T2B Gleason 3+3.
RRP 12/7/06. Nerves and nodes okay.
Pathological stage: T2B. Gleason 3+4. Cancer confined to prostate.
PSA on 1/3/07 - 0.04. 
PSA on 4/4/07 - 0.00  T level - 48  Restarted T therapy.
Next PSA on 7/11/07.

Since we're both going on this trip together here's wishing you the best of luck. I like seeing couples working together on this. My wife is supportive but she doesn't like to talk about it. so most of the time I work the issues I have on my own or in here. You two are very lucky. Make no mistake my wife is holding my hand on this in her way. Once again I'm wishing you all the luck in the world.

Hi, Iz - you two have had a bumpy road getting to this point and now it's here! We'll be eagerly waiting to hear from you.
Husband age 65
PSA on 5/1/06: 4.2 (had doubled in 13 mos. and rising monthly)
DaVinci Surgery 8/2/06
T2a (at biopsy)
T4c (at pathology) w/cancer cell leakage into fatty tissue
Post-Surgical PSA on 10/3/06 - undetectable!
Update: 11/1/06 - perhaps bladder neck involvement; 30%-50% chance of recurrence
Future: PSA tests twice-yearly for now

Biopsy: 1/10 positive, 5% cancerous, right apex.

All the best to Ken in his surgery--it has been a long wait for both of you and I know you want it over with so that you can move forward and start enjoying life once again. God Bless!

68, Biopsy 9/27/06, Stage T1c, PSA 7.1, Gleason 6 [less than 5% in two areas], Gleason 7 (3+4) [less than 20% in third area], negative DRE, bone scan and MRI. Starting proton radiation therapy 2/22/07.

Tumor involves 20% of cores, both lobes
Live in OK

Post-Op  Gleason 6, Stage t2c nx mx  YAAAAA HOOOOOO!

Knowing what you're about to go through - I think I can say the anticipation is worse than the actual surgery. You've prepared yourselves and you should do fine.
We'll be looking for you post op as soon as you're able to get on here.
