Doctor choice

Has anyone had robotic surgery at Rush University Hospital in Chicago? I am thinking of using Dr. Christopher Cogan. Any thoughts? I am also considering going to the Henyr Ford Hospital in Michicgan. I would appreciate any advice.

I am not speaking firsthand, but some members here have had Dr. Menon at the Henry Ford Hospital perform their surgery. He is considered one of the top robotic surgeons anywhere and was one of the pioneers in performing this surgery. I would assume that he is very busy and you might have to wait longer to schedule surgery with him, but go for it!

What are your prostate cancer stats (i.e., PSA, Gleason score, DRE exam, stage of cancer, etc.).
