Does anyone here have acanthosis nigricans associated with their  prostate cancer. My husband's doctor has it listed as probably caused from the prostate cancer and it is in the groin area.  I have researched and it is usually associated with diabetics but it can be caused by a malignant tumor.   Haven't found anyone else that has it.  I'm trying to find out what others do to try to cope with it as it sometimes gets very painful.  Any help will be welcome.

I have found some of the same articles that you have and it seems to be tied to diabetes or obesity.

Did your physician have any suggestions for the pain? Is the pain severe itching?

I wish I could have been of more help, but hang on and I am sure someone here will have some info for you.

Take care of you.
