Thanks everyone. Your sharing and support have enabled me to approach this experience with confidence and optimism. This community is a powerful resource for prostate cancer patients in their battle against this disease. I hope I can help those that follow in the same way you have helped me.

Today was a finely orchestrated round of pre-operative tests and meetings at the City of Hope hospital. We met my surgeon, Dr. Mark Kawachi, for the first time and he patiently reviewed what lay ahead and answered all our remaining questions. I was very impressed by the organized, efficient and professional way that the City of Hope staff processed this "out of Towner" and prepared me for the surgery tomorrow. I feel very confident in a positive outcome.

See you all on the other side.

Cheers,
Joe
